At Foulford Inn we make a serious effort to use as much local produce as possible - our aim is to produce freshly-prepared food at affordable prices. We use local lamb, beef and venison and patronise local suppliers so that we reduce our carbon footprint and use fresh local ingredients as far as possible.
We serve all meals including traditional High Teas - a very Scottish meal with a varied menu, served with tea and toast, followed by scones, pancakes and cakes - home-made of course!
Our lunch menu is varied with a selection of fish, vegetarian and meat dishes. We also have an extensive snack menu and special menus for our junior and senior patrons.
Our new season’s evening menu offers our patrons an opportunity to sample a selection of dishes such as our Poached Salmon in a Peppercorn Sauce, Venison Cutlets and Double Lamb Chops - locally sourced and freshly-prepared. There is also a Specials Board which changes daily. Our chefs are always prepared to cater for any special dietary requirements our guests may have. Our dining-room seats 80 persons and we are delighted to cater for smaller functions.
